Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert admits he hasn't spoken to Norwich City chairman Alan Bowkett for two years.
Lambert left Norwich for Villa over the summer.
And Lambert made it clear there was still a feud between himself and the Canaries chairman.
Lambert said: "I've not spoken to the chairman for about three years. That's a bit of an exaggeration, maybe two. Why? I don't know. Let him talk. We'll see what happens.
"I always had good relationships with people I've left at Livingston, Wycombe and Colchester. So unless I'm wrong, I don't know where he's plucked that one from.
"But I've got other things to worry about. I've nothing to be ashamed of. I took advice from the LMA and I know what's going on.
"It'll be in the hands of a managers' tribunal and hopefully it will be sorted out.
"I've nothing to hide. I couldn't have handled it any differently, I know what happened."
