Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen on Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata.
The young Belgian appeared on his way out of City last summer before he was given a surprise lifeline by manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Pellegrini has called on Boyata during Cup action this season, but won't stand in his way should he want to move on.
Lambert is a fan and believes the 23 year-old has the ability to prove himself Premier League class if granted an extended chance.
