Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen on Chelsea striker Demba Ba.
The Daily Star says Lambert wants Demba Ba in his attack if he loses Christian Benteke.
Benteke has asked for a transfer and can leave if a club pays the £25m asking price.
With that in mind Villa are trailing Chelsea ace Ba, available for £7m despite joining the Blues only six months ago.
