Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert insists he hasn't forgotten about Danish striker Nicklas Helenius.

He is yet to start in the top flight after a £2m summer move from Aalborg.

"Once he gets that opportunity, he has to take it," Lambert said.

"Someone has to miss out, but there will be a contribution for him.

"He's been fine, Nicklas. I don't have a problem with him at all, I can only pick 18 lads to get the result."
