Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has hailed the impact this season of Brad Guzan.

The American keeper was voted Aston Villa's Player of the Year.

And manager Lambert believes the 28-year-old's saves kept his side up just as much as Christian Benteke's 19 goals.

Lambert said: "If we didn't have Brad we could have lost more games.

"Strikers are gold dust but so is a goalkeeper. I class people as equal. The team have done it this season, everyone's been great."
