Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is furious with former club Norwich City.

Lambert has told Norwich chairman Alan Bowkett to respect the arbitration tribunal set up to settle their dispute.

He admitted: "I'm extremely disappointed what senior officials at Norwich have said in relation to myself. The fact of the matter is Norwich are suing me.

"I think it's disrespectful to the tribunal that this has come out and it's inappropriate for me to comment any further. It's in the hands of the Premier League Managers' tribunal.

"I've never said anything at all. I'm concentrating on Aston Villa. This is my job. I love it here."
