Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was frustrated after their 2-2 draw at West Bromwich Albion
The draw continued Villa's frustrating run of form which has now seen them fail to win any of their last six Barclays Premier League outings and slump to a 3-1 defeat to Bradford in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final.
"We're disappointed," he said. "We had a lot of chances. We'll have to regroup and look forward to Bradford.
"But if we go into the next game with that mentality, we'll be fine."
Local boy Gabby Agbonlahor at least had the consolation of scoring against Villa's bitter West Midlands rivals, and added: "Everyone knows I get a lot of stick off these fans, so it was good to score against them today."
