Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has frozen Stephen Warnock out of first team involvement.
The Daily Mail says Warnock has been excluded from training with Aston Villa's first-team squad by Lambert.
The one-time England left back was told earlier this week by the club's new boss that his services were not required. It is understood he has been offered to Blackburn and Sunderland.
Warnock, 30, will now train with Villa's development squad as Lambert continues to weed out those on high wages.
