Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert believes Christian Benteke could be back for their next home game.
The Belgian striker is making good progress with his Achilles problem and could face Manchester City at Villa Park on Saturday, October 4.
"There's a lot of positives things here at the minute," said Lambert.
"Benteke's coming back, he's training and he's one of your recognised strikers."
Asked if Benteke had a chance of playing at Stamford Bridge in a week's time, Lambert replied: "I'm not sure whether than one might be a bit early, but you're looking not too far after that I think."
