Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is eager for a long FA Cup run.
Lambert knows Sunday's home fourth round tie with Championship leaders Bournemouth is vital.
When quizzed about the importance of a decent Cup run, the Scot replied: "Absolutely. We'll go with as strong a team as we possibly can to get through.
"The pleasing thing was the way we played against Liverpool. Carles looked excellent when he came on - as good a debut as I've seen for a good while.
"There's a good chance we'll start him against Bournemouth and he'll play. For the money we got him for, doing what he's doing, he looks good."
