Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert ducked their lap of Villa Park after victory over Hull City.
Supporters turned on Lambert during the 4-1 defeat to Swansea that preceded Saturday's win and he decided to stay inside while players paraded Villa Park on a 'lap of thanks'.
"It was for the players," Lambert said. "The most important people at this club are the players and the supporters. Always will be, and I don't care what anybody says."
