Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert expects Christian Benteke to start against West Bromwich Albion tonight.
Benteke has struggled with a groin injury since Villa's victory over Norwich two months ago. A knee problem, picked up during international duty, has not helped, although he is in line to start this evening.
"His ratio of taking chances is extremely high. Even when he's not scoring, he had opportunities against Everton and West Ham," said Lambert. "They will come.
"The injury he sustained at Norwich was the first he had ever encountered.
"He never knew what having an injury was like. It can throw you," the manager added. "Benteke has set himself an extremely high standard. He has to go again now."
