Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert won't rule out moving for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.

Carroll is expected to become available at Liverpool as new manager Brendan Rodgers seeks to make his stamp on the club.

"[Carroll is a] top player, there's no doubt he's a top player, and it wouldn't be one I would dismiss if it was there," Lambert told Sky Sports News.
