Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is chasing Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.

And he admits he's also keen on Tottenham ace Jermain Defoe.

"You are talking about two really good players and different types of players," said the Scot.

"A club this size will always be linked with players of that ilk.

"You don't ever stop looking for players, and you have to always try to improve."
