Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill insists Shaun Maloney has a future at Villa Park.

"Shaun still has a part to play, absolutely", he said. "At this minute, we've changed it around a bit so we've got a bit more strength in the middle of the field.

"But Shaun can play a number of positions. He's just had a rest these last couple of weeks but he will be back. Patrik Berger has come in again but this is about as much rotation as we've been doing this season."
