Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier is excited to have fit-again Fabian Delph available.
Houllier is confident former Leeds United prodigy Delph can showcase his skills on the big stage when he is given his chance.
"He's a fantastic player," said the former Liverpool and Lyon boss.
"He's like a new signing. He's got everything. He sort of glides around and he's got very neat accurate passing.
"What he needs now is acceleration. He needs to speed up and change the pace of the game. Only playing matches can bring that.
"It would be ideal if he had had a couple of reserve games but because of the pitches we couldn't do that.
"Against Tottenham I wanted to give him 60 or 70 minutes. The good thing is he went through that.
"But he can justify his price tag."
