Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has shutdown talk of Darren Bent leaving.

Rumours of a rift between McLeish and Bent has sparked talk of a January exit, with Liverpool and Queens Park Rangers linked with the ex-Tottenham man.

But McLeish said: "He won't be leaving, I can say that now."
