Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia and boss Alex McLeish have both talked and decided to put their past difference behind them. The former Wigan star, who has failed to live up to expectations since his £9.5million move to Villa last July, fell out of favour at the turn of the year and his manager, McLeish, essentially accused him of lacking commitment and preferring money over football.
"If I get wages, I have the right to do what I want with my money. He is not here to tell me what I have to buy or not. He is not my father. He doesn't know where I come from.
"After the match against Newcastle (5 February), there was a quarrel with the coach.
"I didn't like the words he said. I was really upset. At first I was disgusted. Now, since (Darren) Bent's injury, the coach has started to play me again. So it is better.
"There was a communication problem with the coach. We had a talk and we both put our resentment aside." "Alex McLeish said I prefer cars to football," the 25 year old told L'Equipe.
