Aston Villa have missed out on Porto defender Abdoulaye Ba.
The Daily Mail says Villa have been rebuffed in a bid to sign defender Ba on loan from Porto.
The 21-year-old Senegal international has figured for the Portuguese in the Champions League this season but they were initially willing to loan him.
