English clubs are queuing for released Rangers winger Gregg Wylde.
The Mirror says Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish is heading the race to sign Scotland Under-21 midfielder Wylde.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle, who bid £700,000 for Wylde in the summer, is also keen but has taken Arsenal left-winger Ryo Miyachi on loan so his need is not as pressing.
Wylde is expected to meet most of the interested clubs in a whirlwind round of talks and could be offered better first-team chances in the Championship.
Southampton, Blackpool and Bristol City are also keen.
