Villa ace Milner to snub Chelsea for Man City move

Aston Villa midfielder James Milner is ready to leave Villa Park.

The Sun says Milner will snub Double winners Chelsea to join Manchester City in a £25million deal.

The Aston Villa man returns home from the World Cup today and will now seal his £80,000-a- week switch to Eastlands.

Milner put all transfer talk on hold while he was away with England in South Africa.

But the midfielder, 24, has been quick to make up his mind after the Three Lions' embarrassing 4-1 thrashing by Germany.

He has already told Villa chiefs he wants to go.

A top City source revealed: "It's not signed and sealed yet but we are confident it's a done deal.

"Things are now moving fast and we are hoping to wrap everything up by next week."
