Gabby Agbonlahor says Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is trying to change the culture at the club.
Villa worked tirelessly to deny Newcastle space in the 1-1 draw and Agbonlahor says that ethos is drummed into the players in training.
"What he's trying to build into us is that if someone gives the ball away you don't moan, you just go and win it back for your friend,'' he said.
"We've been working on that a lot in training and games and I think that mentality will help.
"He's said to us, when you lose the ball then it's nice to have a friend who's there to come and help you win it back and then you can do the same for him.
"A lot of it's fitness, but a lot of it is as well being sharp, chasing the ball down, hunting in packs really."
