Aston Villa academy assistant manager Steve Burns was delighted with their 2-1 NextGen win at Ajax.
Villa clinched a quarter-final spot after claiming another major scalp in the prestigious European U19 competition.
"It was an excellent, professional team performance," Burns told the Villa website.
"The coaches got everything spot on tactically, the players worked their socks off and at times we made them look extremely ordinary.
"We probably had the better chances overall and then we scored again from a second phase set piece and managed to see the game out.
"It was a really good professional away display and fully deserved.
"Reaching the quarter-finals again is excellent and it is a testament to the way the players have applied themselves."
