Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is delighted with the goalkeeping stocks he has at his disposal.
American gloveman Brad Guzan decided to re-sign with Villa after it appeared he may depart for Hull City whilst Shay Given is a proven Premier League number one which gives Lambert plenty of confidence going into his first season in charge at Villa Park.
"Shay Given is a fantastic, world-class goalkeeper," he said on his teams pre-season tour of the USA.
"And every time I've seen Brad Guzan play, he's been excellent.
"It's great that he's signed with the club again. Everybody's on a level playing field."
