The 29-year-old has undergone a medical and successfully thrashed out personal terms with the Ibrox club.

Rangers and Norwegian club Viking Stavanger have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £1million.

The striker returns to Scottish football after quitting fellow SPL side Hearts in February for a £1million move to Norway.

A statement from Rangers read: "Rangers Football Club can confirm that personal terms have been agreed on a three-year contract with Lithuanian striker Andrius Velicka.

"An agreement has been reached with his current club Viking Stavanger that would see his registration being lodged with the Scottish FA and Scottish Premier League on July 14 when the player joins our training camp in Holland."
