Vieri set for Blackburn preseason trials

Christian Vieri is set for preseason trials with Blackburn Rovers.

The former AC Milan and Inter centre-forward is available after leaving Atalanta last season.

Corriere della Sera says Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has invited Vieri to attend their preseason camp in Austria to run the rule over the 35 year-old centre-forward.
