Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira has shrugged off concerns after he played 90 minutes for France in Saturday's 0-0 draw in Italy.

Vieira's decision to play has angered some at Inter, but he said: "My fitness worries have passed and I felt no pain at all. I have not spoken to Roberto Mancini because there was no need to.

"I followed the timetable of the recovery process and everything is completely under control."
