Patrick Vieira was delighted to be on the Manchester City scoresheet in their FA Cup victory over Leicester City.
He marked his 50th FA Cup appearance with his first goal since scoring the decisive penalty in the shoot-out against Manchester United in 2005.
That was the 34-year-old's fourth triumph in the competition - and remains Arsenal's last trophy.
"It is a special competition," said Vieira.
"I was fortunate to win it a few times with Arsenal. It is always a pleasure to play in the FA Cup. These two games against Leicester showed how difficult it is. If you are not 100% committed it can be really difficult.
"At 3-1 we thought the game was over. But it is the beauty of the FA Cup that they scored again.
"There were goals and tension. It was everything in 90 minutes. That is why the fans enjoy it."
