Manchester City EDS coach Patrick Vieira is confident they'll win the Premier League title.

Liverpool's defeat to Chelsea last Sunday opened the door for City and they took full advantage by beating Crystal Palace 2-0.

Vieira believes City will get the job done.

"There are enough characters in that dressing room to say the right things at the right time," said the former City and Arsenal midfielder, who is now the Under-21 manager at the Etihad.

"What is important is what happens on the pitch, and when you see what happened at Palace, a difficult place to go, the team went there, performed really well and did a professional job.

"Yaya Toure was fantastic, Vincent Kompany and Martin Demichelis at the back were very strong. This is the kind of team performance you want, when your leaders perform.

"If you want to win that title, your leaders and big names have to be at their best. We have it back in our hands and we know what we have to do as a club."
