Patrick Vieira is close to a return at Inter Milan.

"Getting injured continuously is the worst thing," insists the midfielder. "Perhaps it would have been better to get injured for five months rather than get three consecutive injuries that each kept me out a month and a half as soon as I came back on the pitch.

"In any case, I had enough strength not to get demoralised and a lot of patience. I've done the best to try and get back in top shape, also in view of the European Championship."
