Viduka now focused on World Cup 2010

Newcastle United striker Mark Viduka is focusing on gaining a spot in Australia's World Cup squad. The 33-year olds agent, Steve Kutner, has revealed that he is keen to win a contract with a Premier League club after the Magpies were relegated and push for South Africa 2010, ending weeks of speculation that his international career was over.

"It's not a question of if Mark wants to play for Australia at the World Cup, it's a matter of he will play at the World Cup," Kutner told The World Game.

"His reason in continuing to play on at the top level in England is to make sure he's there in South Africa. He's feeling fit again and he's hungry.

"He's mulling over a couple of offers from two very good sides and a final decision will be made when he returns (from Croatia) in a week or so.

"I have to keep quiet on who they are for obvious reasons but the offers are there in front of us and an official announcement will be made soon.

"He's feeling relaxed and happy and can't wait to get going again."
