Mark Viduka is reportedly very close to becoming a Fulham player. The 33-year old is expected to undergo a medical after meeting with Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson in London on Thursday after a potential deal with Portsmouth recently collapsed.
Viduka is available on a free transfer after his contract at Newcastle United expired at the end of last season.
The Australian international is after a two-year contract and it seems as though he has found a club just in time for the Premier League season which kicks off on Saturday.
"He flew into London last night for talks with Cottagers manager Roy Hodgson,'' it was reported in the Daily Express.
"Portsmouth had lined up Viduka in the last couple of weeks, but that deal collapsed because of the club's financial worries and Fulham have now moved in.''
