Nemanja Vidic is unconcerned over Sir Alex Ferguson's touchline ban, claiming it will not have an adverse effect on the team during matches. The Manchester United boss was fined £20,000 and banned for two games with a further two matches suspended until the end of next season for his comments made about referee Alan Wiley.
"We have big games coming up especially after Chelsea moved five points ahead of us and now the next three or four games are very important to us," he told Sky Sports News.
"I hope we show the character to win the games without him.
"But we know what is waiting for us and what he expects off us and nothing changes and during the game you are focused and you don't look over to the bench.
"In that aspect I don't think there will be a big difference and everything he sees he will have contact with the second coach and he will be there."
