Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic says they'll be ready for the theatrics and play-acting of Barcelona. The skipper is adamant his team's mentality will be enough to overlook the gamesmanship of Barca, who beat United 2-0 the last time they met in a Champions League final.
Vidic said: "We have to focus, then it won't be a big deal to handle the things we know will come.
"Their players have a different mentality to us. But it won't be a problem to deal with these things. They may do things and argue more than they should do but it won't affect us.
"The referee for the game will probably be the best referee around. I think he can cope with that.
"We have no doubt of the mentality of the players in our team and their ability to handle this.
"We know each other, play for each other and trust each other."
But while the 29-year-old is ready for whatever the Spanish giants bring to Wembley on Saturday, he fears the behaviour showcased over the two legs is becoming increasingly common throughout football.
Vidic added: "It's the way the game has gone nowadays. It wasn't just Barcelona, Real Madrid were doing the same things.
"In games all over Europe, players in different teams do the same. In the semis, everything was magnified."
