Nemanja Vidic may face a lengthy wait over new contract talks at Manchester United.
The Sunday Mirror says the Serbian defender, a target for Barcelona and Inter Milan, is believed to be looking for a substantial pay rise to bring him in line with United's top earners.
However, the Glazers will not engage in contract talks with other players until they have entered the final 12 months of their existing deals.
