Melbourne Victory's number one goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos will be forced to sit out the next two A-League matches after being sent off on the weekend. Theoklitos was red carded for stomping on the foot of Central Coast striker Sasho Petrovski in Saturday nights Round 5 A-League clash. The good news for the Victory is that they have been granted permission to sign a back-up keeper for two weeks to assist young Mitch Langerak who will step in for Theoklitos. Usually the rules state that players cannot be replaced when suspended but there are special amendments for goalkeepers as most clubs have only two or three on their list. The Victory will sign a back-up keeper by tomorrow at the latest.
