Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama says fans can be excited about next season's title prospects.

Spurs signed off for the season on Sunday afternoon with an emphatic 7-1 victory over Hull City.

"We are really happy to end the season this way," he told Tottenham's official website.

“There is nothing to worry about, we are building a special thing. Hopefully come next season we will improve and be better."

Wanyama finished the campaign with four goals after notching against the Tigers.

He added: “I've missed some sitters with my head but now I think I'm improving so hopefully I can get more!"
