Victor Valdes has officially left Barcelona.

The goalkeeper, who comes off contract next month, is recovering from knee surgery.

Marca says Valdes has said his farewells to the squad and technical staff with a brief speech in the dressing room.

The Spaniard will now continue his rehab in Germany.
