Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses is adamant they face Arsenal tonight in the right shape.
The two teams meet in the second-leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal.
Moses told the London Evening Standard: "It was very important [to beat Brighton] after drawing four games in a row [five including the FA Cup third-round replay against Norwich that Chelsea won on penalties].
"We wanted to come out here with a game plan. We came here with a game-plan and it was important to get the three points. We showed great character from the start until the end, which was really important for us. We now look forward to the game on Wednesday."
"[This win] has definitely picked the team up. Winning 4-0 away was key and important for us.
"But now we must use that confidence to go to the Emirates Stadium and try and win that game on Wednesday."
