Chelsea's England veteran trio John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are facing an uncertain few months.
Owner Roman Abramovich has no plans to sanction contract talks with the England trio "for a few months", according to a source close to the Russian billionaire, says the Daily Star.
That means central defender Terry, 33, midfielder Lampard, 35, and left-back Cole, 33, are free to talk to suitors in five days when the transfer window opens.
It looks like the trio will have to wait until near the end of the season to see if Abramovich and Jose Mourinho still see them as key members of the squad.
