Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen was delighted with his goal in victory over Swansea City.
The Belgian has struck six goals this season.
Vertonghen said: "I don't think I have ever had such a prolific run in front of goal.
"I have always scored quite a lot of goals for a defender but I would say this is a good run. I actually work a lot on scoring in training. Not only on these finishes but after training I stay outside with a few lads and finish a little bit.
"It certainly helps, so I will try to do it a little bit more because we need everyone to chip in with goals now. I always try to score.
"I scored one and I wanted to go for a second one but I don't care who scores, I am just aiming for third or fourth place.
"If we finish in third or fourth place without me scoring again I'll be happy."
