Jan Vertonghen spoke positively about the depth of Tottenham's squad following the weekend's win over Swansea City.
The Belgian defender scored the only goal of the match to send Spurs fourth on the Premier League table and he feels things will only get better once the likes of Gareth Bale, Younes Kaboul, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Mousa Dembele and Scott Parker are back in action.
"We have a big squad - too many injuries with Younes, Benoit, Mousa, Scott Parker and now Gareth - but even without them we've played quite well," he told the Evening Standard. "When everybody comes back we'll have a very strong team.
"Gareth is a world-class player but I think we did well without him [against Swansea]. We need a little bit more width on the pitch but I think Clint replaced him very well, like he's replaced all of the strikers already."
