Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has defended manager Andre Villas-Boas.

There are claims of AVB losing the dressing room after defeat to Manchester City.

"It was a painful experience, but it was a snapshot. All is not lost," said Vertonghen.

"The manager is trying to make the right choices. Sometimes it turns out to be right, sometimes not."
