Verona appoint facility management services partner

Hellas Verona have announced a partnership with Engie for the remainder of the 2017/18 season, reports www.fcbusiness.co.uk

Engie Program, the French electric utility firm's facility management services arm, will provide facility management services for the Serie A outfit, which will include fitting out services, porterage and soft service at the club's Bentegodi Stadium.

Engie Program will oversee the cleaning of the venue, the management of ticketing, stewarding, and management of the ground's turf.

Luca Fiorucci, head of operations and facility management at Engie in Italy and chief executive of Engie Program, said: "Hellas Verona is a club with a tradition and an important history in the Italian football scene. Engie has the honour of linking its name to that of the Verona club and is proud to embark on a path of joint growth."

Maurizio Setti, president of Hellas Verona, added: "We are very happy to start a collaboration with an important operator such as Engie Program that will support us in all the facility management activities at the Bentegodi stadium. We hope that the collaboration can continue and grow in the future."
