Juan Sebastian Veron has told Ezequiel Lavezzi to stay with Napoli.

Lavezzi is a target for Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, but former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Veron says he should stay in Naples.

"I tell Lavezzi that Manchester is different to Naples," Veron told the Corriere dello Sport.

"I know because I have lived through it and can guarantee if he wants football with less pressure, then the Premier League is ideal.

"However, if he wants to feel the warmth of the supporters, then nobody is more passionate than Napoli."
