Thomas Vermaelen says he now feels like a genuine Barcelona player.

The former Arsenal captain missed all of last season due to injury.

"Now I feel like a proper Barça player. Things are starting to go well for me," said Vermaelen.

The Belgian is getting back to his old self: "I'm not afraid to get stuck in anymore and I'm nearing my best form".
