Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen insists they can handle Liverpool strikers Luis Suarez and Danny Sturridge ahead of this weekend's blockbuster.
With Arsenal sitting top of the Premier League table, Vermaelen is confident that they can get the better of Suarez and Sturridge as the two sides clash in this weekend.
"We know them from the past. We played a lot against Luis Suarez already, and of course I know him from my time in Ajax," said Vermaelen.
"Sturridge we played against last season. We know them both, they are playing well and quite dangerous. But now we need to keep going like we did the last couple of weeks."
