Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen was delighted with his playing comeback for the reserves this week.
While he is ruled out of the game against Manchester United, the Belgium international hopes to be in contention for a first-team return for Arsenal's trip to Stoke on May 8.
"The injury is OK now, I'm fit and I feel great," he said.
"I am available and my target is to be back in the squad soon."
