Bologna forward Simone Verdi will not making a January move to West Ham, according to sporting director Riccardo Bigon.

The Italian, who has also been linked with Serie A teams Inter and Lazio, has scored 4 goals and made 5 assists so far this season.

Bigon told Sky Italia: "Simone doesn't want to move in January and the club also don't want to lose him.

We are not considering the possibility of giving him away at the moment and we want to finish the league with the same squad".

Hammers boss David Moyes is believed to be looking to strengthen his Premier League side in a bid to steer away from the relegation zone.
