Verbeek announces Socceroos squad for Asian Cup qualifiers

Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek announced his squad for the upcoming Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia earlier today. As promised, Verbeek has selected an all A-League squad with only 6 of the 21 squad members having previously represented the nation.

Craig Moore, Archie Thompson, Tom Pondeljak, Nikolai Topor-Stanley, Danny Allsopp and Matt McKay are those players to have already won international caps.

The Socceroos take on Indonesia in Jakarta on Wednesday January 28 but will assemble in the nation's capital on January 25 to prepare for the match.

Group B of the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifiers consists of Australia, Indonesia, Kuwait and Oman.
